Dear Reader ,

My name is Jigjiddulam Avgaanjantsan (Jay )and I am a forty-year-old loving wife and mother of two. My daughter turned seven this year and she is full of energy, just keeps me going and hand full.

Two years ago I was diagnosed with liver "disease" which I contracted from virus. My liver has chronic permanent scars that have been caused by a virus. I suffer from severe headaches, pains in my abdomen and shortness of breath. As a result of this my level of activity has been drastically reduced. Despite my desire to work, I’m unable to work even part-time. Furthermore, my doctor at the National Institutes of Health the major therapeutic option in my situation would be a liver "transplant".Currently antiviral therapy for HDV using interferon alfa is considered unsafe in for my condition.Unfortunately I'm not eligible for lack of insurance.My doctors plan is to continue symptomatic care and monitoring until a transplant option becomes available.

My family, friends and I cannot afford this procedure. We are struggling financially and are desperate to raise enough money to be able to pay for this surgery which is why we are reaching out to you. My entire family is trying to stay positive by embracing our new motto, “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about dancing in the rain.” I ‘m positive that I will see my daughter’s high school graduation, my son’s college graduation, and perhaps even my grandchildren someday. I foresee my husband and I aging gracefully together, and living happily ever after.
